Ms Kereja Jasinthan
Hygienist
GDC 280426
Hi I am Kereja and my role is as a Dental Hygienist at Park Road Dental Clinic.
Having achieved a BDS degree in India, I moved to the U.K and have focussed my career on providing good hygienist services.
I know we have all heard it before, but maintaining healthy teeth and gums is the foundation of all dentistry.
Not only do your teeth look better, but your whole experience of your teeth, your smile and eating becomes a positive one. Moreover if you have any dental treatments these too will last longer if you have a healthy mouth.
This is why dentists recommend that you see a hygienist regularly.
I really enjoy spending time with my patients understanding your needs and working with you to make you confident about the health and appearance of your smile, teeth and gums. I especially enjoy providing gum treatment ( periodontal therapy) to patients, a job that is truly satisfying when patients say ‘ I cant believe how good my teeth feel’.
To ensure my patients can have confidence in me I continue to keep up to date with changes in the field by attending courses and training.
Outside work I am a busy Mum. As all Mum’s will know , keeping the kids happy, healthy and stimulated is a full time job!! Saying that I love it to bits and spending time with family is what it’s all about! Although sometimes a bit of peace and quiet and a good book makes my day!!
GDC number: 289871
After graduating from the University of Bristol, I have focused and my time as established myself as a General Dental Practioner. I love meeting patients and helping them on their journey to a happier and healthier mouth and teeth.
I truly believe in a healthy first approach and like to spend time with patients talking about their needs and wants and working to your goals.
One of the most rewarding parts of my job is my interest in providing you confidence in your smile. I have therefore invested in further training in tooth straightening with clear aligners (Cfast) and composite bonding, which enables me to provide you a path to the smile you want.
Knowing that visits to the dentist can be stressful for many, I enjoy helping anxious patients feel more confident at the dentist and am focused on making dental visits enjoyable by working together to find the best treatment options for you.
Outside work I love to travel and go on adventures, one of my favorites at the moment is rock climbing. I want to give back and have spent time volunteering and working in dental clinics in both Nepal and Cambodia. At the end of a working day my ideal evening would be eating good food and reading a fantasy/sci-fi book.

It is my great fortune to have become a dentist and be able to do a job that I genuinely
enjoy.
Helping you on your journey to better dental health and confidence is my aim when I
meet you. I love to talk to patients and get to know their needs, wants, goals and
aspirations. We then work together to make it happen!!
To enable me to best support my patients I make it a priority to be updating myself and
building on my planning and treatment skills. I derive satisfaction from all treatments and
especially enjoy building a great smile. Restoration of your teeth has been a passion
from University in Leeds where I achieved a Prosthetics award for my work.
To broaden my thinking for the benefit of my clients, I have also worked in Manchester
Dental Hospital Services, under the guiding hands of some respected and experienced
consultants. This experience has helped shape my work today.
I enjoy working with General Dental Colleagues, Specialists and Hygienists to provide
you considered approach to your dental care and health.
Outside work, I am keen on keeping fit. Having played hockey competitively, I now do
lots of running and you will probably see me on my bike as I cycle to work. I want to
travel and learn more about other cultures and am learning Spanish at the moment. I
love living in London and meeting friends and partaking in the unlimited choice of
restaurants and experiences available here.

Dental Hygienist & Therapist

Hi there, my name is Dimple
Having worked at this practice for many years I have had the pleasure of seeing you over the years. Not only is this satisfying, but also has helped shape the way I work, understanding patients lives means we can work together to integrate maintaining good oral health into you life in a practical and manageable way.
Seeing a hygienist is a corner stone of maintaining a healthy and happy mouth, teeth and gums that also looks and feels good giving you confidence in life. You will have heard this before, believe me it is true!! The other benefit is that dental treatment will last longer if properly cleaned and maintained.
My approach is always gentle as I know how important that is to patients.
Besides my work, I have 2 other passions in life baking and my kids!! Being a mum of 2 , doing the juggle that so many of my patients also do, is a challenge I relish and seeing children grow and develop is a joy. When I can I bake and decorate cakes with all sorts of designs. The practice team is always asking me for my special cupcakes!!
